Four Young Adults Killed on Ks Turnpike - Leaving two children without their parents UPDATE 3/3

Before going any further I want to ask my readers to please respect the privacy and special needs this family will be going through at this time. Let's work with our hearts to help in a time of need.

A good friend and business partner of mine posted a note to facebook today that immediately hit my heart! I am 24, with  3 children (4, 3 and 1) you will see why it really bothers me to read this story.

Cindy, posted the following status update:

Morning Face Book Friends, I don't normally do something like this but I need your help. A dear friend of mine lost her 22 year old daughter in a terrible car accident Wed. night. She left behind 2 little girls. Madison 2 and Olivia 1 month old. The father was also killed. I am helping the family to raise money for ...funeral exspence. If you would like to make a donation please email me Houser427@sbcglobal.net
Here is the newspaper article about the accident http://www.kansas.com/2010/02/25/1197764/three-killed-on-kansas-turnpike.html?storylink=omni_popular Her name is Jonette Grimes. Thanks

I do not know the people who sadly lost their lives but as a mother of  three it hits my heart heavy to help these two little kids. I am setting a goal of $1,000 to be donated to this family. Please help us reach and surpass this goal.  Cindy does have a paypal set up and can accept donations. I sent my $15 donation immediately after reading the story.
If you would like to make a payment of any kinds please use the personal services option so that neither party is charged a fee and the money can go straight to the needs of this family.

Please send payment to Houser427@sbcglobal.net via http://www.paypal.com/ with the subject Grimes Donation (in place of You've Got Money!)

We will also be taking donations for the two little girls listed above. 2 year old Madison and 1 month old Olivia. If you have anything you feel these little girls need, please email me or comment on this blog and I will get your information right away! Please use Grimes Donation for the subject of the email as well.

Please share this story to help raise funds for these children and the funeral expenses of Jonette Grimes.

  3. So very hard to read this story. My mother was killed in an accident in Hutchinson, in 1979. She was 22. My brother and I were in the car at the time, and survived, as did the drunk driver. I was 16 months old, and my brother was 3 years old. This breaks my heart. I want to send my warmest thoughts and love to the family, ESPECIALLY the two little girls...nothing can fill the void of losing a parent...let alone losing them both. So very heart-breaking.
