Lucian Freud: Portraits

Jul 01, 2012 - Oct 28, 2012

Lucian Freud is widely considered the greatest portrait painter of the twentieth century. His visceral renderings of people from all walks of life have a painterly and psychological drama that is unparalleled in contemporary art. For much of a century—from the late 1940s until his recent death in July 2011—Freud made the living human presence his subject.

Pregnancy Clinic Gift Basket Fillers & Donations Needed

I am planning an event for a local Pregnancy Clinic and I wanna include you!

The clinic is for moms to get educated on parenting, cpr, birthing options and the typical testing when learning you are pregnant :) The company has been around for over 20 years and not long ago opened up a second location. I have donated many bags of things (too embarrassed to tell you the number, I had WAY  too much stuff lol) but now I wanna help moms, help these moms. :) The Work At Home Mom community has a reputation for being caring and giving and I wanted to be sure and include you guys in this opportunity to help you promote your  business and give back. Deadline for donations and fillers is September 20th. I will be making up two baskets. One for the workers (a few men) and one for the moms. I will also be putting together 35 goody bags for this opportunity (will accept more if you like, for future events) to make available to everyone who comes in. Each person who donates will have a blog post here on my site and will be featured on a flyer at the clinic as well as in the goody bags  (this way you are in the bags even if you can't send fillers and donations). If you would like to make a donation or send your promotional items for the goody bags please email me at Miracle_Creations07 @ yahoo. com Please note that only one representative per company will be included in each bag per event that I do.

What's In Your Wallet? - LIFEChurchDFW.com

http://www.lifechurchdfw.com/

Today's service was such a great service, as always! The topic for today was  "What's In Your Wallet"(It's not about money)Acts 3:1-10 (New International Version)This was the first recorded miracle of the early church...
 Peter Heals the Crippled Beggar

1One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. 2Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. 3When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!" 5So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.

6Then Peter said, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." 7Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong. 8He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Observations

You can't give what you don't  have.

Some people can't give what they do have.

Some things (even if they are yours) can be given ONLY with the right authority.

Smockity Frocks visits Sears Outlet

Smockity Visits Sears Outlet

by Smockity Frocks on July 2, 2010

If you're new here, WELCOME! You can to subscribe to my RSS feed or by email. Go ahead! Get Smockity every day. It's FREE!

I finally made it to my Sears Outlet store with a partial Smockity Bunch for a tour. (I had to leave one girl with strep throat home with Daddy and our boy was away at church camp.)

I was met at the door right away by the manager, Amy Powell. She was just as friendly and helpful as she could be, and as far as she knew I was just another customer. As soon as I introduced myself to be a Sears Outlet Signature Team Mom, she was more than happy to give me a guided tour of the store.
We saw clothes and children’s books.

They also carry small kitchen appliances as well as all the major ones.

The large appliances are where you will see the best bargains! They are marked down every 30 days until they are sold or until they have remained in the store for 8 months.

This brand new refrigerator was originally over $600. In some cases the appliances only have minor scratches or were returned because the customer changed his mind about the purchase.

If you need any large appliances, or even small ones (check out these universal remotes for $3.99!) be sure to check out your Sears Outlet. They are having huge mark downs this holiday weekend!

Share and Enjoy:
