  10. My favorite holiday memory happens every year when we put a new ornament on the tree representing the year. We either make it, upcycle or buy... either way the year is always put on it. My favorite is also when the kids make an ornament at school they're proud of. I love the look in their eyes when they see how much I love it and the delight to put it on the tree.

  11. I had typed my entry already, but not sure what happened to it. My favorite memory is our yearly ornament. I love marking each year we celebrate the holidays together.

  12. We had a huge house, and heated with a wood stove, and we carried wood from the shed to the house whenever we needed it, and that included Christmas. It was hard work, but have a lot of good memories of doing it! Joni O

  17. Christmas 2009, Daddy was stationed in Germany without me and my oldest. We flew out and spent the holiday with him...snowed in on post, (meaning the roads were closed.) We had a blast and she was able to spend her first Christmas with Daddy and in a foreign country. :)
