One of my favorite Christmas memories was watching my boys sing for a Sunday School recital on Christmas Eve dressed as little angels.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday memory happens every year when we put a new ornament on the tree representing the year. We either make it, upcycle or buy... either way the year is always put on it. My favorite is also when the kids make an ornament at school they're proud of. I love the look in their eyes when they see how much I love it and the delight to put it on the tree.

ReplyDeleteWe had a huge house, and heated with a wood stove, and we carried wood from the shed to the house whenever we needed it, and that included Christmas. It was hard work, but have a lot of good memories of doing it! Joni O

ReplyDeleteChristmas 2009, Daddy was stationed in Germany without me and my oldest. We flew out and spent the holiday with him...snowed in on post, (meaning the roads were closed.) We had a blast and she was able to spend her first Christmas with Daddy and in a foreign country. :)

ReplyDeletewhne santa showed up at our house!! we were so excited! it was my dad we found out years later, but as young kids we were thrilled!!!
