REACHING OUT TO TENNESSEE EVENT

WAHMs Across America is reaching out through a large network of work at home women and men to come together to support those in Tennessee who are suffering in the aftermath of flooding.

In particular, our goal is to help residents of Old Hickory, Tennessee - an adjoining community to Nashville, which has been hit hard. Right now, there are about 80 homeless families residing in a shelter. Most of those have lost everything and have no home to go back to even when the flood waters dry up. These are some of the most extreme cases of loss and we want to help.

This fundraiser and all it's proceeds will benefit those families through the local rescue in Old Hickory. While we can't help all 80 families to a large extent, we can touch many of them by providing gift cards to purchase much needed essentials at Walmart when they recover. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be turned into Walmart gift cards and sent for distribution to those families in the shelter who need the most. These can be used as needed for toiletries, school supplies for children, clothing, cleaning supplies, food, water or whatever that particular need is for that family.

Come join us for a great day, support this worthwhile event and help a wonderful cause!

There is also a huge advertising sale going on that all the proceeds are going to these families to help them out. You can view the sale by clicking here
