Support The Veterans Suffering In Silence #22KILL

Uncle Rex has taken on the #22KILL Challenge to honor America's Veterans. 22 push-up's a day for 22 days to support the 22 Veterans who suffer so deeply they end up taking their life today. Yes, statistics say that on average 22 Veteran's committed suicide yesterday then again today and again tomorrow. We have got to find better ways to help these men and women. There are many members of my family who have served in the military and this is only one of the reasons he has chosen to support this challenge.

Terrible fact that we must work to change: 484 Veteran's will take their life by the end of this #22KILL challenge.

These men and women put their lives on hold, postpone plans with their family or plans of starting a family in order to put their life on the line and serve our country. The other day I spoke with a veteran who made me realize the freedom to vote, freedom of speech and the freedoms we have thanks to the Constitution and what this country was built on are such a broad range of the protections we have as American's and the cliche of verbiage we all tend to use when referencing support for our troops.

You may not agree with war, or defending other countries or spending money on war but these men and women have signed up to save our lives and our country. They are the reason we can take our kids to the park, work, we can be the authority of our own house and even wear shorts, show our hair as women and so much more. All the smaller things we take for granted, we have the right to do so because of these honorable people serving our country.

What is #22KILL?
#22KILL is a global movement created by veterans with a mission to:
  • Honor those who serve(d)
  • Raise awareness to veteran suicide and mental health issues such as PTS.
  • Educate the public about current veteran-related topics and issues
  • Support various veteran empowerment programs; i.e. Honor Courage Commitment, Inc. (HCC), Equest Hooves for Heroes, Brain Treatment Foundation, Center for BrainHealth, REACT, Adaptive Training Foundation, and more.

More than your precious moments!......

This makes me cringe. We are trying too hard to come up with ways to be LAZY.

I've realized more and more that OCD has crippled me and I find myself feeling deflated due to fear.

If you look at your child and contemplate a way to make things easier with life you will constantly be running from the purpose of life. A lot of times we feel "life shouldn't be this hard". I've let it take me down a few times.....

Do not chase themes of getting hurt. Seek ways to overcome and enjoy. (Was that an Audra or what?)
Life is moments. Many tiny moments. Sometimes even smaller than the one we couldn't even attempt to photograph.

Don't spend your time trying to find a way out of this moment, time, season, phase, month, year, quarter, decade.

Read articles of why life is about more than your precious moments..........

AllysRosieCreations Review

AllysRosieCreations and Essential Oils sent me a box of GREAT smelling products to review.
One of the items I received was an Oatmeal Bath Bomb.  We broke it into pieces because a smaller piece is more than enough to fulfill our oatmeal bath needs. At $3.00 each, it is absolutely worth the cost.
In our home of four we deal multiple skin issues due to medications and eczema and just sensitive skin in general. This definitely gives us hope of having fewer concerns with those issues.

The shop owner has A+ customer service when answering all my questions and shipping was super fast.

A little about the shop

AllysRosieCreations came to life in the fall of 2015, before this time I was a 23 year old girl who worked a full time job plus working my Young Living business on the side. In August 2015 my husband and I were married and found out we had a baby on the way! So I quit my job and decided to stay home. I enjoyed making all natural products so I browsed the internet a lot looking for new things I could create and that's how I found and started making homemade bath bombs! They were so much fun to make and I enjoyed it so much I decided to start selling them. First it was just to my family and friends and they enjoyed them so much I decided to open a Etsy shop to see if I could get any business from there. To my pleasant surprise it BOOMED! I opened my shop on December 28th 2015 and within a month I had 23 sales and 9 five star reviews! (HUGE shout out to my awesome customers btw, I obviously couldn't have done it without them haha. ;)Our baby girl is due in April of 2016 and I plan to be a stay at home mom and homeschool so I am going to use this little home business as extra income and the opportunity to spend more time with my family. <3 I want to thank YOU and thousands of others for supporting small, home businesses. Not only are you getting a beautiful handmade item when you order from a Etsy shop but you are helping fill a families needs and making dreams come true! :) I've just got to say it has been a joy ride so far and I look forward to the road ahead!
