Terrible fact that we must work to change: 484 Veteran's will take their life by the end of this #22KILL challenge.
These men and women put their lives on hold, postpone plans with their family or plans of starting a family in order to put their life on the line and serve our country. The other day I spoke with a veteran who made me realize the freedom to vote, freedom of speech and the freedoms we have thanks to the Constitution and what this country was built on are such a broad range of the protections we have as American's and the cliche of verbiage we all tend to use when referencing support for our troops.
You may not agree with war, or defending other countries or spending money on war but these men and women have signed up to save our lives and our country. They are the reason we can take our kids to the park, work, we can be the authority of our own house and even wear shorts, show our hair as women and so much more. All the smaller things we take for granted, we have the right to do so because of these honorable people serving our country.
