I recently posted a brief "Whatif" relief on my
facebook and now I am anticipating a review of this awesome-looking book! I am so excited Wendy agreed to send me a book to review! My kids and I are on a book mission lately and I can't wait to read this one!
Have you ever read this book?
Whenever Jonathan James finds himself in a new situation, he hears his Whatif Monster asking all kind of questions to stop him trying something new: What if it’s scary? What if they laugh? What if it’s hard? Finally, Jonathan James has some questions of his own: What if they don’t? What if it isn’t? What then?
More about the Storytime app:
The timid but endearing Whatif Monster comes to life in this clever picture book app based on Michelle Nelson-Schmidt’s child-friendly rhyming tale. Providing the ideal antidote for every child’s occasional bouts of self-doubt and fear of trying something new, it will have kids conquering their fears in a whole new way.
Jonathan James and the Whatif Monster print edition has been delighting and inspiring children, parents and teachers across the country. Now this enhanced ebook version makes its encouraging message available wherever and whenever it’s needed! And then there’s all the fun to be had by the three-to-seven year old audience as they touch and tap to animate Jonathan and his fearful friend.

ReplyDeleteCute app.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so cute! I will try it out. It reminds me of the Worry Woo book I read my daughter. It's always good to talk to kids about things that may scare them to make them less scary. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like it is a great book.
