TAKE NOTHING PERSONAL! - #Here2Inspire

This article was shared with me by Here 2 Inspire and I think it is a great one to share!
I have been working with my "reflection" as well!!

Take Nothing Personal!
These words are easier said than applied! We are almost programmed to take everything we experience as a personal attack on us, who we are and everything we may stand for. I'm here to remind u you that nothing is personal! Whatever another individual may do or have done to you is "there story". We are all on this spiritual journey to grow and evolve into who and what we truly are. When someone elses actions hurt you, it is important to remember that its most likely not about you!! That individual is going through what they are going through, period.

It is easy to point the finger of blame at others when they do things to displease us. However it is also important to remember that we attract only a reflection of how we are feeling on a subconscious level anyway. Ie: we attract what we are. If someone does or says something that resonates painfully with you...DONT TAKE IT PERSONAL. Grab a mirror and go within. See where you may have treated another person the same way you are being treated.. and get the lesson! All life experiences come up to teach us a lesson.  The more often we fail to get the lesson, the more likely we will repeat the SAME experience at a later date.

Have you ever found yourself saying "WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?"  It's because  you havent learned the lesson. And trust me beloved  the message is not "screw he/she that hurt me". While it is ok to make the decision to no longer interact with certain individuals.. it is your personal responsibility to learn from the situation.

We get so caught up in the "victim role" and the "drama" of a situation.. that we fail to acknowledge the most important party member.. and that is YOU! DON'T BE A VICTIM. It's time to grow!

Love self, Learn Self Grow and Evolve.. No one can do this for you but you!

Money Lessons from Mayberry - @RealLifeDealsKY

Guest post from Sharon at Real Life Deals

Last night we were watching classic Andy Griffith TV.
Here’s a few money lessons I picked up from watching this episode:

Aunt Bee to Andy: It’s more economical to buy the sugar in the huge bag….

Andy Replies: If the sugar is too big to handle and you spill it all, does it really save you money?
Aunt Bee to Andy: Opie’s shoes were in the discontinued bin so I saved $1.25.

Andy replies: They’re 2 inches too big! He’ll never grow in to them.
Andy to Aunt Bee: You’ve never used that freezer. It just sits on the porch. The only thing it has been used for is to catch a mouse last winter. $100 mouse trap? You ‘ve got to bag a bargain like that!

Aunt Bee thought she was saving money by buying a whole side of discounted beef to store in a old rickety freezer. The beef was tough, the freezer didn’t work right…..How much money did Aunt Bee pay to fix the freezer repair man? Did she end up saving any money on the discounted beef?
Sometimes when you think you are saving money, you find that you probably should have just bought what you need instead of trying to cut corners. Aunt Bee bought way more than she needed (stockpiling?), then had no way to store it. Hmmm…. makes one wonder if we should share this episode with others…
Have you seen this episode? It’s pretty amazing how the same real-life savings deals were being discussed back on the Andy Griffith show years ago.

#Homemade Laundry Soap - @BeautyBrite

Guest post from Stephanie at Beauty Brite

I am so glad to find this recipe on several other blogs. It's a DRY recipe for homemade laundry soap. I didn't want to mess with mixing, melting, and adding water in a big bucket. I like easy recipes and this one is definitely easy.

Homemade Laundry Soap

1 cup Borax
1 cup Washing Soda
1 Bar of Soap (Kirk's Castile, Ivory, Sunlight, Zote bars, or any natural soap)

Directions: Grate the soap with a cheese grater or food processor. Place all ingredients in an airtight container and shake.  (can use a yogurt container)

Use 1 tablespoon per load, 2 tablespoons for heavily soiled loads.
